TITLE TO GO BEFORE FIRST LOT OF KOSKY COLLECTION:
THE LOUIS KOSKY COLLECTION OF ASIAN CERAMICS & WORKS OF ART
The late Louis Kosky was a champion Bridge player and one of his great passions was collecting Asian Ceramics & Works of Art. The majority of his collection was purchased from Sotheby`s, New Bond Street, London and Christie`s, King Street, London in the 1970s and early 1980s. Many of the pieces still retain the lot labels which are useful for tracing their provenance. Some of those buying around this time may remember Lou Kosky also bid under the name of Jack Albuquerque, for which we have two original invoices.
