A Chinese famille rose ‘mandarin’ bowl, Qianlong period, painted with figures in a lakeside garden, between red enamelled landscape vignettes and cellular panels, 28.4cm diameter. Condition - there is a hairline crack to the rim extending about halfway down through the body, some scratching to the glaze on the interior, some occasional wear to the gilding, otherwise in reasonable condition.

A 17th/18th century Japanese clobbered Arita jar, 24cm. Condition - good Vase suffered a bruise during the manufacturing process, resulting with two small blisters at the exterior and clear open cracks at the interior, see images seven and eight; two further firing cracks at footrim; neckrim with a pre-firing hairline crack and a pre-firing small chip which is glazed. Wear to gilding throughout.
