A collection of 15 Royal Photographs from the 1920s and 1930s, once belonging to Mr Pallavicini of the Papal Swiss Guard. To include Dorothy Wilding portraits of George VI, and Queen Elizabeth, and a F.A. Swaine portrait of the Prince of Wales (later Edward VIII) all three signed, and mounted in engraved crested silver frames. Also included is a Cecil Beaton portrait of Princess Marina, signed by both the photographer and sitter, and a portrait of Queen Mary, inscribed `Mary R, 1939.` Several portraits bearing personal inscriptions to Madame Pallavicini.

Dorothy Wilding - George VI and Queen Elizabeth- inscribed `George R` and `Elizabeth R`, both dated 1940. Each silver frame engraved with personal Royal insignias, and stamped Henry Hodson Plante, Birmingham, 1937. Also a framed Christmas greetings card with an image of George VI and Queen Elizabeth in the Royal coach - inscribed `from Elizabeth R` and dated `1948` (the two portraits both 12.5 inches, including frames) (3)

F.A. Swaine- Edward, Prince of Wales- inscribed `Edward P, 1921`. The silver frame engraved with the Prince of Wales` insignia, and stamped Alfred Clark, London, 1920 (10.5 inches, including frame)

Cecil Beaton- Marina, Duchess of kent, Portrait in evening dress against a backdrop of a classical ruin inscribed `Marina, 1940` and also `Beaton` in trademark red; along with a framed family group portrait of the Kents- inscribed `George, Marina, 1938;` and a framed Christmas greetings card dated 1946 and signed `Marina,` inscribed: "With all best wishes for a happy Christmas & new year to you & your husband" (largest 11 inches, excluding frame) (3)

Hay Wrightson- Mary, Queen Dowager- portrait in full regalia inscribed `Mary R, 1939` (12.5 inches, excluding frame)

Dorothy Wilding- George, Duke of Kent- inscribed `George, 1939` (7.75 inches, excluding frame)

Dorothy Wilding- Alice, Duchess of Gloucester- inscribed `Alice, 1939`; along with a portrait of Henry, Duke of Gloucester- inscribed `Henry, 1939`, the two portraits in matching frames (both 9.75 inches, excluding frames) (2)

Speaight ltd- Mary, Princess Royal and Countess of Harewood- inscribed `Mary, 1939` and framed with a personal greeting to Madame Pallavicini: "To dear Madame Pallavicini with best wishes for Christmas and the New Year from Mary`; and another smaller portrait of the Princess Royal in Military Uniform- inscribed `Mary, 1945` (largest, 11 inches, excluding frame) (2)

Speaight ltd- Princess Alice, Countess of Athlone, portrait of the last surviving grandchild of Queen Victoria signed "Alice- Countess of Athlone, 1939" and inscribed on the mount "To Dear Madame Pallavicini;" along with a similarly framed portrait of the Earl of Athlone- inscribed "Athlone, 1939" (largest 11.25 inches, excluding frame) (2)
