Royal Interest: A letter from Queen Victoria to Mrs Malcolm nee Georgiana Charlotte Frances Harcourt (1807-1886), inscribed Windsor Castle, November 7th 1847, offering the Queens condolences on the death of her father, the Archbishop of York Edward Venables-Vernon-Harcourt, contained in a late Victorian brass swivel frame, 11.5in.
Georgiana Malcom nee Harcourt first met the then Princess Victoria at Harewood House on the 12th September 1835 when she attended the local church service, Georgiana`s father preached the sermon at the local church and on entering the building the Princess Victoria accompanied Georgiana.

Postage and packing can be arranged by the Auctioneers and will be charged at cost of postage/delivery plus an minimum charge of £10 for the first Lot and £2 for each additional lot larger items may attract a higher fee Lot.
