ROYAL INTEREST: Ten handwritten letters and a card by Queen Mary to her lady-in-waiting, Lady Eva Dugdale, dating from April 1914 to December 1924 on Windsor Castle, Buckingham Palace and Sandringham headed paper, a letter from May (Mary) when she was Princess of Wales, dated April 1908 and a rare letter from George V to Lady Eva dated July 7th 1918 with the `GV` monogram heading (12)
Provenance: By family descent. Lady Eva Dugdale (1860-1940), nee Eva Sarah Louise Greville, was the daughter of the 4th Earl of Warwick. She married Colonel Frank Dugdale in 1895. She was the confidante and lady-in-waiting to Queen Mary up until her death in 1940.

Postage and packing can be arranged by the Auctioneers and will be charged at cost of postage/delivery plus an minimum charge of £10 for the first Lot and £2 for each additional lot larger items may attract a higher fee Lot. Insurance can be arranged subject to the terms of the carriers. However all packing will be at the purchaser’s risk. Gorringes recommend Mailboxes and Alban Shipping for high value or delicate items.
